February 2010 Camp Meeting Minutes

The meeting was called to order by Commander Warf. Chaplin Taylor opened with prayer, We had the pledge to the U.S. flag and the salute to the Confederate flag

 The commander gave the membership and financial  reports, we have one new member of the friends of the SCV, and compatriot Warf's son is a cadet  member of the camp.

Compatriot Crandall has purchased the new hardware to repair the flag at the monument site. The commander is working on getting the bucket truck.

We are still working on setting up a work day to install the headstone, for a headstone dedication program. The recruiting booth at the monument is still in the planning stage, the camp voted to put two articles in the local newspaper inviting prospective members, just before the recruiting event.

With no further business the meeting was adjourned with prayer by Chaplin Taylor.

The next Camp meeting will be March 25, 2010
