June 2010 Camp Meeting Minutes

     The meeting was called to order by the commander and opened with prayer by Adjutant Murrow. We had the pledge to the U.S. flag and the salute to the Confederate flag.

        The commander gave the membership and financial  reports. Compatriot Lewis gave a report on the idea of the camp selling caps as a fund raiser, the camp voted to buy the caps         and he will be ordering them.

        The Commander advised he will be replacing the rocks at the monument, it was decided to go with box wood hedges at the site, these will be installed at a later date.

        The headstone dedication scheduled for July 17 has been cancelled due to conflicts with other events. Adjutant Murrow will be sending out dues reminders shortly.

        The camp discussed the Christmas dinner and the Forest Festival.

With no further business the meeting was adjourned with prayer by Adjutant Murrow and the camp enjoyed refreshments provided by OCR Chapter #17.

    The next camp meeting will be July 22, 2010
