March 2010 Camp Meeting Minutes

The meeting was called to order by Commander Warf. Chaplin Taylor opened with prayer, We had the pledge to the U.S. flag and the salute to the Confederate flag

The commander gave the membership and financial  reports, we have 2 possible new members. There was a general discussion about Confederate Memorial day in April. The Dusty Roses, OCR Chapter #17 will be holding a yard sale April 10th to raise funds for the camp Memorial day event.  We will be setting a soldier's headstone at Shiloh cemetery April 11th at 2pm. The dedication will be held at a later date.  Compatriot Crandall advised that if we plan on having an end of the year camp dinner, at a restaurant like last December, we should decide on a date so we can get our reservation in at the restaurant on time.

We will be meeting at the Monument site March 30th at 6pm to re - install the large flag.

With no further business the meeting was adjourned with prayer by Chaplin Taylor.
